Dating & adventure
A first date
with a plot.
A playlist, a few deliveries, and someone new in the passenger seat. Try dashing for an afternoon adventure, or meet someone who’s looking for a spark, too.
Make an afternoon of it.
There’s something easier about talking while you’re doing something. A restaurant you’ve never noticed. A song you both know. A little time to see how you get along, without a whole evening planned out.
Say what you’re here for.
Tell us whether you want a date, a new friend, or simply someone to try dashing with. We look for compatible intentions nearby.
Meet before you commit.
Chat first, then meet in a public place. Decide whether you’re comfortable sharing a car, and agree on a short outing and an easy place to finish. Either of you can call it a day.
Sort out the practical bits.
Decide who drives, who handles pickups, and how you’ll split any earnings, tips, and fuel costs before accepting an order. Both people need to be eligible for the delivery work they’ll do.
Who needs a Dasher account?
One person can accept and manage the orders on their own account. But that account doesn’t cover a teammate: DoorDash says anyone helping with the dash must also have a valid Dasher account, including someone driving for the Dasher or helping with drop-offs.
Not approved yet? Don’t pick up or drop off orders, use your teammate’s account, or treat driving as a workaround. DoorDash’s guidance doesn’t give a separate exception for navigation, so plan to get approved before helping with that, too.
You can request an introduction and meet someone before you’re a Dasher. For a working delivery team, both of you should have your own valid accounts. Read DoorDash’s current requirements before planning your shift.
New to DoorDash?
Here’s how to sign up.
Your trix.WTF request helps you meet someone. Becoming a Dasher is a separate signup with DoorDash, and you can start it while you wait for an introduction.
Start on DoorDash’s website.
Go to the official Dasher signup page and create your own account with your email and phone number. Check the age requirement for your state; it varies by location.
Submit your details directly to DoorDash.
Follow the application prompts for identification and your delivery method. In the U.S., DoorDash asks for a Social Security number for the background check. Driving requires a valid license and appropriate insurance. Keep these details with DoorDash; trix.WTF doesn’t need them.
Complete the checks and wait for approval.
Consent to the background and, when applicable, motor vehicle checks. Finishing the form isn’t the same as being approved. Check your application status with DoorDash before planning to work.
Get the Dasher app ready.
Download the Dasher app for iOS or Android, sign in, and follow its setup instructions, including payout details. Once eligible, use the app to schedule a dash or check whether Dash Now is available.
Follow DoorDash’s signup instructions and first-delivery guide. DoorDash controls approval and local availability.
Find your kind of company.
Share your city, availability, and what you’re hoping to find. We’re gathering early interest and making introductions where we can.
