The idea

An AI director gives each phone a complementary live camera role, then combines the crew’s footage into one edit.

How it works

  1. Read the scene and assign different roles such as wide shot, close detail, and action follow.
  2. Give the crew haptic cues to adjust or hold their assigned framing.
  3. Combine the complementary footage into one edited sequence.

AI’s role: Choose complementary framing roles and send quiet cues; normal camera controls and editing code apply the plan and keep every shot visible to its operator.

First demonstration

Ask five people to film a short birthday moment. Assign one wide shot, one close detail, and three action views; cue framing changes and assemble the clips.

What to solve next

Can the director improve coverage without distracting camera holders or making their recordings feel scripted?
