The idea

Compare shared room scans to find what moved, disappeared, or arrived, then use ghosted earlier positions to restore an arrangement.

How it works

  1. Scan the same room at different times and align the spatial records.
  2. Compare surfaces and objects to identify additions, removals, or moved items.
  3. Show a ghost of an earlier arrangement as a guide for movers, contractors, or film continuity.

AI’s role: Describe likely object changes and make a room history searchable; scan registration and change detection still need geometric validation.

First demonstration

Scan a room before and after moving a lamp and chair. Highlight the changed objects and show their earlier positions as translucent guides.

What to solve next

How should the system distinguish a meaningful change from scan noise, lighting changes, or an object temporarily out of view?
